Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom will get a chance to cut his teeth in the Austrian top flight, after agreeing to a season-long loan with Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday.
The Reds announced the move Wednesday with a statement on its website, with Wisdom slated to join up with the defending Austrian league champ.
Wisdom, 23, is poised for his fourth loan move since joining Liverpool's academy in 2008 from Bradford City. The defender has enjoyed spells at Derby County, West Bromwich Albion, and Norwich City, where he made just 10 league appearances with the Canaries last season.
The Leeds-born England youth international will be eligible to play in Salzburg's next match Sunday against Admira.
