Manchester City summer signing Oleksandr Zinchenko will get a chance to cut his teeth in the Dutch top flight after agreeing to a season-long loan with PSV Eindhoven on Friday.
PSV announced the move with a bizarre video on its Twitter account, revealing the paperwork on a one-year loan with an option for a second. The details were included in a statement on the defending Eredivisie champ's official website.
A left-footed winger who can ply his trade on either flank, Zinchenko, 19, signed a five-year contract with City in the summer following a €2-million move from Russian side Ufa.
One of nine marquee moves to kick off the Pep Guardiola era at the Etihad, Zinchenko played for the club during its preseason stretch after making three appearances for Ukraine at Euro 2016.
In May, he became Ukraine's youngest-ever goal-scorer, surpassing national legend Andriy Shevchenko for the honour after bagging one in a 4-3 friendly defeat over Romania.
