Adnan Januzaj will be in the Sunderland squad for Saturday's trip to Manchester City after confirming a season-long loan from Manchester United.
The Belgian winger becomes the third player David Moyes has signed from his former club United, following the permanent acquisitions of Donald Love and Paddy McNair on Thursday. Papy Djilobodji has also joined for £8 million from Chelsea.
Januzaj shone during Moyes' short-lived stint in Stretford, terrorising opposition right-backs and inheriting the No. 11 shirt from Ryan Giggs. Under Louis van Gaal, however, things didn't fare so well, culminating in a miserable loan spell at Borussia Dortmund and limited United opportunities last season.
In one of his first senior appearances, Januzaj bagged a brace for the Red Devils at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland follows Saturday's tilt at Manchester City with visits from Middlesbrough and Shrewsbury Town, the latter of which is in the League Cup.
