Everton has agreed to a deal in principle with Leicester City, and is set to bring on head of recruitment Steve Walsh as the club's sporting director, according to a report by Rob Dorsett of Sky Sports.
The Telegraph further reports that Walsh's appointment will be announced Wednesday, with the Toffees agreeing to pay about £2 million in compensation.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen on working alongside Walsh, who unearthed Leicester stars such as Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante out of France.
Sky Sports reports that Walsh has expressed a desire to return to the northwest of England despite agreeing to and signing a contract extension with Leicester last May.
Walsh isn't the only Leicester scout finding himself scouted by other clubs, as Ben Wrigglesworth, who was also an instrumental part of creating the surprise title-winning side, joined Arsenal earlier in February.
