Middlesbrough loans McGhee from Hearts

Middlesbrough has made its fourth signing of the transfer window with Heart of Midlothian defender Jordan McGhee joining on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old follows Viktor Fischer, Bernardo Espinosa, and Marten de Roon to Teesside but with the intention for McGhee to initially continue his education in the club's under-21 side. The deal includes an option for Boro to make the move permanent.
McGhee has 16 appearances for the Scotland Under-21 team and has collected 58 first-team appearances since making his debut aged 16.
