Chelsea has reached an agreement with Dr. Eva Carneiro, ending the employment tribunal in Croydon, south London, the club announced Tuesday.
"The club regrets the circumstances which led to Dr Carneiro leaving the club and apologises unreservedly to her and her family for the distress caused," the statement on the club's website read.
Carneiro had claimed constructive dismissal against Chelsea while also bringing a second separate claim against former Blues manager Jose Mourinho for alleged sex discrimination and harassment.
The Portuguese doctor's allegations stem from an incident during a match against Swansea in August, where Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn ran onto the pitch to treat an injured Eden Hazard.
That prompted an outburst from Mourinho on the touchline, where the former Real Madrid boss allegedly called Carneiro as "filha da puta," which translates to "daughter of a whore." It was her last appearance on Chelsea's bench.
Carneiro left Chelsea in September after being removed from first-team duties.

"We wish to place on record that in running onto the pitch Dr Carneiro was following both the rules of the game and fulfilling her responsibility to the players as a doctor, putting their safety first."
The statement continued, praising Carneiro for her time with the club, saying, "Dr Carneiro has always put the interests of the club's players first.
"Dr Carneiro is a highly competent and professional sports doctor. She was a valued member of the club’s medical team and we wish her every success in her future career."
It was expected that Mourinho would speak at the tribunal, with the recently-appointed Manchester United boss appearing at the proceeding today prior to the settlement between the two parties.

Several English media outlets speculated that he was initially due to speak next week.
"Jose Mourinho also thanks Dr Carneiro for the excellent and dedicated support she provided as First Team Doctor and he wishes her a successful career."
The club did not disclose the details or conditions of the settlement.
