Bruce in the firing line as West Brom drop into relegation zone
London, Oct 5, 2022 (AFP) - West Brom boss Steve Bruce is under mounting pressure after a 1-0 defeat at Preston saw the Baggies drop into the bottom three of the Championship on Wednesday.
Emil Riis scored the only goal at Deepdale as Preston secured their first home win of the season.
West Brom have won only one of their 12 league games this season and have played more matches than the only two sides below them in the table, Huddersfield and Coventry.
Swansea moved into the playoff places as a 2-1 win at Vicarage Road ruined Slaven Bilic's home bow as Watford boss.
