There are some days when you should've just stayed in bed.

Leicester City's Wout Faes scored two ridiculous own goals in the space of seven minutes against Liverpool on Friday, sensationally wiping out his team's surprise one-goal lead at Anfield.

The two inadvertent errors allowed Liverpool to claim a 2-1 victory.

The Belgian defender's first gift for the home side was a needless swipe at a cross that sent the ball looping over goalkeeper Danny Ward. Faes then took the festive spirit too far with yet another own goal when he inexplicably bundled the ball over the line after Darwin Nunez's shot hit the post.

Faes' own goals follow Leicester's opening strike

Faes is the fourth player with two own goals in a single Premier League match, following Liverpool's Jamie Carragher (1999), Sunderland's Michael Proctor (2003), and Stoke City's Jonathan Walters (2013).
