Arsenal pair Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac escaped an attempted carjacking unharmed Thursday night in London.

Video surfaced online that shows Kolasinac fending off a suspect wielding a knife after Ozil was allegedly followed by two men riding motorbikes on Golders Green Road in his black Mercedes SUV.

MET police confirmed the incident, adding that there have been no arrests. "Police were called to Platts Lane, NW3, shortly before 17.00hrs on Thursday, 25 July to reports of an attempted robbery," a police statement reads, per Sky Sports.

"... The driver, along with his passenger, managed to get away unharmed and travelled to a restaurant in Golders Green, where they were spoken to by officers."

Arsenal confirmed that neither player was injured during the botched robbery. "We have been in contact with both players and they are fine," the club said in a statement, via the Guardian.
