Tottenham are reportedly nearing a deal to sign Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon following a breakthrough in discussions between the two clubs, according to the Telegraph's Matt Law.

Spurs Josh Onomah and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, who were left out of the club's preseason tour of Asia, could go the other way, Law reports. Fulham's interest in the out-of-favor duo reportedly boosted transfer talks between the London sides, which had apparently hit a snag despite Tottenham's continued fascination with the 19-year-old Sessegnon.

It is unclear if Onomah or Nkoudou would be part of a package for Sessegnon or if the Cottagers would use the cash from the sale of the England youth international to fund the moves.

Spurs are reportedly expected to table £20 million plus add-ons for Sessegnon as he enters the final year of his current terms with the Championship returnees.

Despite an erratic maiden campaign in the Premier League last season at Fulham, Sessegnon is regarded as a jewel of an emerging core of young English talent. Capable of playing as a winger and at left-back, the latter position could become an area of need at Tottenham amid reports of a potential exit for Danny Rose.

Sessegnon appeared in all but three of Fulham's 38 league outings last season, registering two goals and six assists as he alternated positions under three different managers.
