Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's unbeaten start to life as Manchester United boss rumbles on.

An 87th-minute penalty from Paul Pogba and Victor Lindelof's close-range jab two minutes into added time vanquished Burnley's two-goal lead at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

The dramatic 2-2 draw concluded a run of eight wins overseen by Solskjaer since he succeeded Jose Mourinho in December.

Burnley took the lead when Jack Cork robbed Andreas Pereira of possession in United's defensive third and sent Ashley Barnes through for an emphatic 51st-minute finish. Their advantage was doubled half an hour later when Chris Wood nodded in Ashley Westwood's lofted cross.

With time running out, United rallied. Pogba netted from 12 yards after Jesse Lingard drew a foul in the box, and Lindelof completed a remarkable late show after Alex Sanchez's headed effort was parried straight to his feet.

It wasn't the result many in the stands would have expected prior to kickoff but, in staging a thrilling fightback, Solskjaer had unwittingly conjured more memories of Sir Alex Ferguson's glittering 26-year regime. And, with a count of 28 shots over a contest, the match was a far cry from the tedium often churned out by the Norwegian's predecessor.

Solskjaer's unbeaten streak has every chance of continuing. Trips to Leicester City and Fulham precede a tantalizing Champions League tussle with Paris Saint-Germain on Feb. 12.
