Lavezzi leaves match after crashing over advertisement board

Argentina forward Ezequiel Lavezzi left his side's Copa America Centenario semi-final clash with the United States just past the hour mark Tuesday night, after crashing into and toppling over an advertisement board on the sidelines and picking up an apparent injury.

U.S. players quickly motioned for the medical staff to attend to Lavezzi, who lay on the ground immobile but conscious. After being looked at, Lavezzi walked off on his own accord and was replaced by Erik Lamela.

Lavezzi, who scored the first goal of the match with a well-placed header, will hope his injury is minor enough to shrug off ahead of his side's seemingly inevitable berth in the tournament final on Sunday.
