Real Madrid topped Manchester City 1-0 on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu, booking its place in the top-tier continental final for a record 14th time courtesy of another clean sheet from shot-stopper Keylor Navas.
The clean sheet was Navas' ninth of the Champions League campaign, matching Santi Canizares' record from the 2000-01 season whilst at Valencia.
Here's a look at Navas' nine clean sheets this year:
Stage | Opponent | Venue | Result |
---|---|---|---|
Group | Shakhtar | Home | 4-0 |
Group | Malmo | Away | 0-2 |

Real's 10 clean sheets in 12 matches is a tournament's best, with Zinedine Zidane's second-choice shot-stopper Kiko Casilla registering a spotless effort in an 8-0 defeat of Malmo on Dec. 8.
