The Calgary Stampeders activated quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell from the six-game injured list Thursday.

Mitchell is expected to return to practice, but the Stamps have yet to name a Week 12 starter for their Labor Day clash with the Edmonton Eskimos.

The two-time Most Outstanding Player has been out since Week 3 after suffering a pectoral injury against the BC Lions.

Nick Arbuckle has filled in as Calgary's starter during Mitchell’s absence, completing 73% of his passes for 2,103 yards and 11 touchdowns while compiling a 4-3 record.

Calgary (5-4) sits fourth in the five-team West Division.
