Calgary Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell suffered an apparent knee injury Thursday versus the Ottawa RedBlacks, according to TSN's Matthew Scianitti.

Mitchell suffered the injury just before halftime following a late hit by RedBlacks defensive lineman Danny Mason, who was handed a roughing the passer penalty.

Nick Arbuckle took over at quarterback for Calgary with his team leading 20-3.

Mitchell completed 16 of 21 for 166 yards and a touchdown before going down in the second quarter. He's been one of the CFL's top players early in the 2018 season.
