Promoted Leipzig nabs Timo Werner from Stuttgart
With Stuttgart on its way down and RB Leipzig poised for a Bundesliga debut, the Saxons have secured the services of young forward Timo Werner.
Werner, 20, brings with him 95 top-flight appearances paired with 13 goals, while joining Leipzig on a four-year deal for a reported €10 million, the club announced Tuesday.

The fee would be a club record for Leipzig, who since being formed in 2009-10, has since climbed from non-league status to the Bundesliga.
A German Under-21 standout, Werner has been a consistent source of attacking impetus at Stuttgart since making the jump from Die Roten's academy in 2013. He has made 30, 32, and 33 appearances in consecutive campaigns
Blessed with potential and a nose for goals, Werner became the youngest player (17) to score a brace in the Bundesliga, in a 3-1 defeat of Freiburg in 2013.
