An exhibition bout between boxing legends Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been postponed from spring to later this fall, the fight's promoter, CSI Sports, announced Wednesday.

The showdown between the two Hall of Famers was delayed after Tyson broke his hand during training. CSI Sports has yet to provide a new date or venue for the event.

Promoters said Wednesday that they initially targeted a May 30 fight date, though a previous report suggested the bout would take place on April 25 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Tyson (50-6-2, 44 KOs) last fought in November 2024, losing to Jake Paul by unanimous decision.

Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) has remained active despite retiring from pro competition in 2017 following his bout against former UFC champion Conor McGregor. The 49-year-old is also scheduled for a rematch against Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas this September.
