Former world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and YouTube star Logan Paul have reached a tentative agreement to fight on June 5, sources told Mike Coppinger of The Athletic.

The exhibition bout was previously scheduled for Feb. 20 but postponed. It was initially to be hosted and broadcast by Fanmio; the new fight will instead be broadcast on Showtime pay-per-view, according to Coppinger.

A site hasn't yet been chosen for the fight. Mayweather said in an Instagram post on Tuesday that five cities - Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, and Atlanta - are in the running to host the spectacle.

Mayweather, 44, won nine major titles in five different weight classes and owns a lifetime 50-0 record as a professional boxer. He last stepped in the ring when he knocked out Tenshin Nasukawa in the first round of an exhibition fight on Dec. 31, 2018.

Logan, like his brother Jake Paul, is a YouTube personality who's trying to enter the world of boxing. The 26-year-old has one professional fight to his name, losing a six-round split decision to fellow YouTuber KSI in 2019.

The boxing world will have its attention divided on June 5, as undisputed lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez is also scheduled to defend his titles against George Kambosas on that date.
