Marin Cilic got emotional during the second set of the Wimbledon final on Sunday.
After dropping the first set and falling behind 3-0 in the second against Roger Federer, Cilic sulked to the changeover chair, smashed a racket, and called for a trainer. Whether the ailment he was dealing with was physical or emotional or a combination of the two, he spent a large portion of the changeover sobbing into a towel.
He was eventually able to continue, coming out of the changeover to hold, with the crowd getting behind him. Federer went on to take the next three games and the second set, and Cilic called for the trainer again to get his left foot re-taped before the third.
