For all the mind games, bafflement, and shirt-ripping lunacy, Novak Djokovic and Gael Monfils did occasionally manage to produce some exciting tennis on Friday afternoon.
Early in the fourth set, after Monfils had somehow rebounded to take the third, Djokovic won a crucial point to set up a double-break chance, running down a perfect Monfils chip shot right in the corner and passing him with this magnificent hooking, short-angled forehand.
