John Cena could reportedly be joining the "Suicide Squad" sequel.
The WWE Superstar is in talks to appear alongside Idris Elba and Margot Robbie in the follow-up to 2016's "Suicide Squad," Justin Kroll of Variety reported. It's not yet known what role Cena would play.
James Gunn - best known for his work on Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise - will write and direct the sequel, which is scheduled to hit theaters on Aug. 6, 2021.
Cena starred in 2018's "Transformers" spinoff "Bumblebee" and is set to play the lead role in the upcoming movie "The Janson Directive," which is being produced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
