A year and a half removed from suffering a serious health scare, Ric Flair appears ready to step back into the ring.

The 69-year-old WWE Hall of Famer revealed on a recent episode of "The Steve Austin Show" podcast that he's been cleared to "get knocked down" again.

"To me, I just need a goal. Does that make sense?" Flair said. "But I finally got the weight back on and then I found myself putting weight back on more than I wanted. So, I gotta be careful with that, but I'll be working out. I can do anything, bench press.

"I had to be careful after surgery, the second surgery, for hernia issues. But I literally really just took it easy and didn't do anything. And now I'm full speed ahead. The guy cleared me to do anything. He actually cleared me to get knocked down in the ring. I didn't know whether they were going to use me in some capacity and you know the clearances you have to have with the health policy, which is so adamant."

Flair's last WWE appearance was at "Starrcade" on Nov. 24.
