Former NFL running back DeAngelo Williams is stepping back into the squared circle.
In a video obtained by TMZ Sports, Williams announced that he'll return to Impact Wrestling on July 12 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Impact Wrestling confirmed the news.
"I said I'd never do this again, but I'm back in the ring!" Williams said in the video.
The 35-year-old made his pro wrestling debut for Impact Wrestling in 2017, teaming up with former NFL offensive lineman-turned-wrestler Quinn "Moose" Ojinnaka to defeat Eli Drake and Chris Adonis at Slammiversary XV.
Williams last played in the NFL in 2016 as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has not officially retired from football, but he recently posted a video on Facebook that included the hashtag #retiredandstillworking.
