Roles of Venus and Serena cast for Will Smith movie 'King Richard'

"King Richard," the upcoming biopic starring Will Smith, has found its young Venus and Serena Williams.

Saniyya Sidney ("Fences," "American Horror Story") and Demi Singleton ("Godfather of Harlem") have been cast as Venus and Serena, respectively, according to Deadline's Amanda N'Duka. Smith will play the Williams sisters' father, Richard Williams, and Aunjanue Ellis of the Emmy-nominated series "When They See Us" will portray matriarch Brandi Williams.

Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, "King Richard" will tell the true story of how Richard planned to make his daughters the tennis superstars they are today. It's set to hit theaters Nov. 25.
