Vondrousova beats Martic to reach French Open semifinals

Czech teenager Marketa Vondrousova needed four match points to end a four-match losing streak against Petra Martic and reach the semifinals at the French Open.

Vondrousova prevailed 7-6 (1), 7-5 over the 31st-seeded Martic.

''It was a very tough match, I had lost to her four times before, I think Roland Garros is my lucky place,'' said the 19-year-old player.
