Carobobo striker Aquiles Ocanto was brutally attacked by a Venezuelan football supporter following his team's victory against Aragua on Wednesday.
The incident occurred during a television interview when the fan jumped in the air and delivered a violent kick to the back of the unsuspecting Carobobo player.
Ocanto's head jerked back due to the force of the kick before he went flying to the ground.
Fortunately, the team says Ocanto appears to be fine following the nasty incident.
“Aquiles Ocanto is well and has not sustained any injury. We reject such acts of violence in football," the team said in a tweet.
