One of the most controversial calls of the round of 16 was the penalty that was awarded to the Netherlands in the 92nd minute of their match against Mexico.
After Arjen Robben fell to the ground following a tackle in the box from Rafa Marquez, Jan Huntelaar to stepped up to the spot and converted to give the Oranje a dramatic 2-1 win.
Outside of the Netherlands and Mexico, reaching a consensus on referee Pedro Proenca's decision is near impossible. Those in favor of the call argue that Marquez' challenge was sloppy and that there was contact. Those against the call argue that Robben went down far too easily in a match where he had already dove on at least one occasion.
Well, based off one of their recent doodles, it's pretty clear what side of the fence Google is on.
