It's not really a heinous crime until there's an attempted cover up, and with Luis Suarez biting Giorgio Chiellini, there was a literal one only seconds later. 

As Chiellini tried to show Mexican referee Marco Rodriguez the bite marks left by Suarez, Uruguay attacking midfielder Gaston Ramirez attempted to put the Italian's shirt back over his shoulder.
