The first goal in the round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup belongs to Morocco.

Azzedine Ounahi unleashed a perfect low shot in the 50th minute after a clever set-piece routine caught Canada cold.

Ounahi scored again in the 82nd minute, and Morocco added a third with one of the final kicks of the match to complete a 3-0 win and advance to the World Cup quarterfinals.
