14-year WNBA veteran Allie Quigley is retiring, she announced in a piece on The Players' Tribune on Tuesday.

Quigley last played in 2022, sitting out the last two full WNBA seasons. The 38-year-old cited the birth of her daughter earlier this year as the main reason for retiring.

The 5-foot-10 guard was drafted in the second round in the 2008 draft and spent her first five seasons bouncing between the Phoenix Mercury, Indiana Fever, San Antonio Silver Stars, and Seattle Storm.

Quigley's career blossomed after she joined the Chicago Sky. She won back-to-back Sixth Woman of the Year trophies in 2014-15, then made three straight All-Star teams between 2017-19.

The Sky won a championship in 2021. Quigley averaged 15.2 points in the playoffs, winning a ring alongside her wife, Courtney Vandersloot.

Quigley is the only player in WNBA history to win multiple Three-Point Contests, clinching her last one in her final season.
