The Atlanta Dream won't re-sign Courtney Williams and Crystal Bradford when the pair become free agents this offseason, sources told The Next's Howard Megdal.

The veteran guards were involved in an off-court altercation in a parking lot earlier in the 2021 season, as seen in a video that surfaced through social media on Sunday. The incident reportedly began when an unknown person insulted Williams' partner.

Williams was the Dream's lone All-Star this past season, averaging team highs in per-game points (16.5), rebounds (6.8), and assists (four). The 27-year-old made light of her role in the incident in a since-deleted video on her YouTube channel, and she further confirmed her involvement in an apology posted to Twitter on Monday.

Bradford, an impending restricted free agent, was one of the league's success stories in 2021. After not appearing stateside since 2015, the 27-year-old Central Michigan product returned to the WNBA this past campaign, averaging 8.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals in 18.3 minutes per game.

The Dream called the behavior "unacceptable" in a statement to theScore on Monday, and said it was working with the WNBA to gather more information to "determine next steps."
