WNBA star Sue Bird has agreed to re-sign with the reigning champion Seattle Storm, reports Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Bird has spent her entire Hall of Fame-caliber career with Seattle after being drafted first overall in 2002. The point guard has helped the Storm claim four WNBA championships since breaking into the league while also winning four Olympic gold medals and two NCAA championships at UConn.

The 11-time All-Star has averaged 12.1 points, 5.6 assists, and 1.3 steals during her illustrious career. Bird's 519 career games played and 2,888 total assists are both WNBA records.
