Twelve finalists have been named for potential enshrinement in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame's Class of 2020, the organization announced.
The group includes three players with strong ties to the WNBA among numerous collegiate and international achievements: Seattle Storm legend and three-time league MVP Lauren Jackson, Indiana Fever icon Tamika Catchings, and Swin Cash, who predominantly played for the Storm and the since-relocated Detroit Shock.

The class of 2020 will be announced on ESPN2 on Feb. 10 during the halftime of the marquee matchup between Connecticut and South Carolina. The class will then be inducted in Knoxville, Tennessee, on June 13.
Additionally, the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame will present the 1980 U.S. women's team with the Trailblazers of the Game award. Despite being likely medal contenders, the team notably withdrew from competition at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow in protest of the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan.
