Manchester United winger Antony has agreed to meet with Greater Manchester Police to face questioning over assault allegations made against him, Simon Stone of BBC Sports reports.

The 23-year-old has denied accusations that he abused former girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin on multiple occasions, according to via Brazilian news outlet UOL. He has also been accused of assaults by two more women, Rayssa de Freitas and Ingrid Lana.

Antony is expected to hand over his cell phone to Manchester police for further examination, Stone adds.

Manchester police are investigating Cavallin's accusations, which were reported to police in Antony's native Brazil, and Lana's allegations, which relate to an alleged attack that took place during a meeting in England, according to The Guardian's Jamie Jackson.

Sao Paulo Civil Police launched an investigation earlier this month after Cavallin filed a report in June. She accused Antony of attacking her three times and threatening to kill her between June 2022 and May 2023.

Lana has accused Antony of assaulting her during a business trip to England after she refused to have sex with him.

Accusations against Antony first surfaced while he was on international duty with the Brazil national team. He was removed from the national team Sept. 4.

Manchester United issued a statement afterward, saying the club is taking the domestic abuse allegations against Antony "seriously." He hasn't appeared in a game for United since Sept. 3.

Antony hasn't been arrested or charged in relation to the allegations. Police in Brazil didn't object to him leaving the country to return to England.
