The Connecticut women's basketball team announced Monday that they temporarily suspended team activities after a member of the program tested positive for COVID-19.
Activities will remain on hold for at least 14 days, per university protocol. That will lead to the Huskies' first four games of the season being suspended.
Earlier this month, UConn's men's team shut down in the same manner after a positive test.
