The Big East is one of several NCAA conferences considering setting up bubbles for its men's and women's basketball seasons, sources told Forbes' Adam Zagoria.
"We're considering it along with several scheduling alternatives," an unidentified source said.
Possible locations reportedly include Creighton's home arena in Omaha, Nebraska, and the IMG Academy in Florida, where the WNBA operates its bubble.
The Big East postponed all fall sports this week, but the conference no longer has any football members. Basketball is classified as a winter sport by the NCAA.
The only major conference to decide on the upcoming basketball season is the Pac-12, which announced this week that all games will be postponed through the end of the calendar year.
