Philadelphia strolls into semifinals with decisive win over Sporting KC

Philadelphia Union recorded a comfortable 3-1 victory over Sporting KC to reach the semifinals of the MLS is Back Tournament on Thursday.
Jamiro Monteiro and Sergio Santos scored within minutes of each other to give Philadelphia an early two-goal lead.
Santos scored another after getting on the end of Brenden Aaronson's beautiful pass to make it 3-0 after 39 minutes.

Peter Vermes' shell-shocked team managed to grab one back before the break, but the deficit was too much to overcome as the Union held on to secure a spot in the next round.
The Union will take on the winner of Saturday's quarterfinal contest between New York City FC and the Portland Timbers.
