Eden Hazard has been ruled out of Thursday's Europa League match due to a back injury, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri revealed.
It's uncertain how or when the Belgian star suffered the injury, but Sarri is hopeful the situation will be resolved ahead of Chelsea's encounter with Burnley on Sunday.
"Tomorrow, he is out for sure," Sarri told reporters, according to Goal's Nizaar Kinsella. "He has a back problem. We are trying to solve the problem for Sunday, it is not very easy."
The 27-year-old leads the Premier League in scoring this season with seven goals in nine matches.

He managed to play the entirety of Saturday's thrilling 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Sarri also announced that Jorginho will be rested for Thursday's match against BATE Borisov because of the heavy workload he's taken on during the international break with Italy, and after playing 90 minutes against United.
The Italian gaffer hinted that he will make further changes to his squad because of the quick turnaround before the Blues are back in action against Burnley.
