With ominous clouds leading thunder and lightning across Whistling Straits, Round 2 play at the PGA Championship has been suspended due to inclement weather.
Play was officially halted at 5:28 p.m. local time, and when conditions worsened over the next half hour, tournament officials announced that Round 2 will resume Saturday morning.

The horn sounded as Jason Day flew his second shot high in the air, eventually landing on the par-4 15th green. He, and co-leader Matt Jones, will lead the list of contenders who will be off early Saturday.
