The Masters committee wants a slogan unlike any other.
Augusta National is in the process of trademarking the phrase "A Tradition Unlike Any Other," which was first coined by CBS broadcaster and long-time Masters Tournament voice Jim Nantz.
The club has filed for two trademarks for the phrase, believed to be first used in 1986, according to ESPN.
Nantz was not consulted, according to his agent, but will not stand in the way of Augusta's plans to adopt the phrase.
