AT&T Pro-Am: What to know for TOUR's trip to Pebble Beach
After Max Homa grabbed his sixth career win last week at Torrey Pines, the TOUR will stay in California, heading up north for the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The tournament will pair professionals with amateurs for a team competition, while the pros simultaneously compete in an individual TOUR event.
On the line for the TOUR players are 500 FedEx Cup points and a share of the $9-million purse.

Last year's result
Tom Hoge edged out Jordan Spieth by two strokes last year to record his maiden TOUR victory.
Hoge got off to a hot start, shooting a 9-under 63 on Thursday to grab the 18-hole lead. He dropped back into a tie for No. 2 after a second-round 69 but reclaimed a share of the lead alongside Andrew Putnam and Beau Hossler following 54 holes.
Hossler ultimately fell back into solo third, while Putnam shot a 1-over 73 on Sunday to drop back into a tie for sixth with Joel Dahmen and Matt Fitzpatrick. Patrick Cantlay and Troy Merritt finished tied for fourth, four strokes back of Hoge.
Rookie Taylor Moore won the team portion of the event with amateur partner Kyle Adams.

The field
World No. 10 Fitzpatrick highlights the field as the top-ranked player. No. 11 Viktor Hovland and No. 16 Spieth are the next best players in the field. The latter finished runner-up to Hoge last year and won the tournament in 2017.
Hoge returns to defend his title and is joined by other winners in Nick Taylor, Ted Potter Jr., and Jimmy Walker.
Celebrities on the amateur side of the field include recently retired soccer star Gareth Bale, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The course
For the third week in a row, the TOUR will be using a multi-course setup for the tournament. This week, the pro-am will be played at Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club's Shore course.
Pebble Beach is a 6,972-yard par 72, Spyglass Hill is a 7,041-yard par 72, and Monterey Peninsula is a 6,957-yard par 71.
Brandt Snedeker holds the tournament's 72-hole record with a 265 when he won in 2015 at 22-under. Pebble Beach's 18-hole tournament record is a 62 (four players), Spyglass Hill's is a 62 (Phil Mickelson and Luke Donald), and Monterey Peninsula's is a 60 (Sung Kang).
