Tiger Woods will play at the JP McManus Pro-Am in Ireland and be in the field for The Open at St. Andrews this July, his representatives confirmed to Golf Digest's Dan Rapaport.

Woods hasn't played competitively since he withdrew from the PGA Championship in May prior to the final round. He opted not to participate in last month's U.S. Open, saying his body needs more time to recover.

The JP McManus Pro-Am is a 36-hole event held at Adare Manor from July 4-5. Each professional will team up with three amateurs. The field includes some of the biggest names in the sport, including Rory McIlory, Jon Rahm, and Collin Morikawa.

The Open runs from July 14-17. Woods has won the event three times in his career, including twice at St. Andrews (2000, 2005).
