Brooks Koepka posted a 6-under 66 in Round 2 of the WGC-Workday Championship to hold a one-shot edge going into the weekend.

Koepka took a while to get going Friday at The Concession Golf Club. He played the first six holes at 1-under but eventually added five more red numbers to his scorecard before bogeying his final hole.

Koepka tops a stout group of chasers as he looks to claim his ninth PGA Tour title and second WGC victory.

Collin Morikawa tied the low round of the day with an 8-under 64. He has a share of second place with Aussie Cameron Smith and Billy Horschel.

Tony Finau, Webb Simpson, and Patrick Reed are also within striking distance.
