Harry Higgs has withdrawn from the Houston Open after testing positive for COVID-19, the PGA Tour announced Tuesday.
Higgs was slated to play in a group with Jhonattan Vegas and Sam Ryder for the first two rounds of the event.
The Houston Open is the first tournament to allow fans since the PGA Tour returned from its pause. Up to 2,000 spectators will be permitted on site each day.
Higgs turned pro in 2014 and has earned three top-10 finishes, including a second-place result at the Safeway Open this season.
