Tiger to skip Houston Open
Despite hinting at the possibility of playing the Houston Open in the week leading up to the Masters, Tiger Woods will do his final preparations for Augusta at home, according to Golf Digest's Daniel Rapaport.
Woods previously entertained the idea of playing in Houston depending on how he felt after the Zozo Championship.
"The whole idea is to be ready in a few weeks, and whether or not that's playing one more event, whether that's Houston, or just playing here at Zozo, just making sure that I'm ready for Augusta," Tiger said last week.
Woods finished in a tie for 72nd in a field of 77 players at Sherwood Country Club. Tiger has only played in 16 tournaments since winning his fifth green jacket in April 2019.
The rescheduled Masters begins Nov. 12.
