Garcia to play in pro tennis tournament ahead of the Masters
While other PGA Tour pros will be fine-tuning their golf games ahead of the upcoming Masters in November, Sergio Garcia plans to hit the tennis court.
The 2017 green jacket winner will make his professional tennis debut at the H-E-B Pro Tennis Open in Austin, Texas. The event, which is part of the Dropshot Tournament Series, is scheduled for Oct. 25-Nov. 1.
Garcia will get some help, though, as he'll be playing doubles alongside Amer Delic - a retired ATP player from Bosnia - during his first crack at professional tennis.
Can’t wait buddy! No matter what happens we’ll have lots of fun 👊🏼 https://t.co/vMQ7FgTRSP

If Garcia, who recently won the Sanderson Farms Championship for his first PGA Tour victory since the veteran's Masters win, and his partner Delic advance far enough in the tournament, the semifinals and finals will be streamed live on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, according to Golf Digest's Alex Myers.
