Dustin Johnson, who sits fifth on the PGA Tour's career money list with $67 million in earnings, added another $15 million to his bank account by winning his first FedEx Cup title on Monday.
The FedEx Cup payouts don't count toward a player's official earnings, but the top 30 on the PGA Tour this season won't complain.
Justin Thomas birdied the final hole on Monday to split second with Xander Schauffele. The pair walked away with $4.5 million for their efforts.
Thomas and Schauffele both placed inside the top three at last year's Tour Championship too, winning a two-year total of $8 million and $9.5 million, respectively.
Tour rookie Scottie Scheffler climbed up the leaderboard to finish alone in fifth. The $2.5 million bonus he received is nearly equal to his career earnings so far (just under $3 million).
Collin Morikawa earned $1.9 million for coming in sixth, which is $80,000 less than his winner's check for claiming the PGA Championship in August.
Finally, Billy Horschel came in dead last this week at East Lake and still takes home $395,000. For comparison, the fourth-place finisher in a standard PGA Tour event earns approximately $323,000.
