The PGA Tour has elected to play the remainder of the 2019-20 season without fans in attendance, Golf Channel's Rex Hoggard reports.
The circuit will also forgo Wednesday pro-ams for all tournaments remaining on the schedule. An announcement is expected Monday.
Next week's Memorial Tournament was originally planned to be the first event with spectators, but that was scrapped last week. The WGC-FedEx St. Jude also changed course to host the tournament in early August without fans in attendance.
The decision means all tournaments through the FedEx Cup playoffs, which end with the Tour Championship on Sept. 7, will be held without a crowd.
It remains unknown whether fans will be allowed at the Safeway Open, which kicks off the 2020-21 season on Sept. 10.
