Thomas to serve as on-course reporter for Tiger-Phil charity match
Justin Thomas will put down the clubs and pick up a microphone to act as an on-course reporter for the charity match between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson on May 24, Turner Sports announced Thursday.
It's expected Thomas will handle mid-round interviews with Woods, Mickelson, and their respective teammates, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
CBS reporter Amanda Balionis will join Thomas on the course, while NBA legend Charles Barkley and 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman will act as analysts. Brian Anderson will be the host.
The charity match - which will raise over $10 million for COVID-19 relief efforts - will take place at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida, where Tiger is a member. TNT will broadcast the event live starting at 2 p.m. ET.
