Woods, Thomas wait out typhoon in movie theater, pizza joint
Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, and a group of other golfers and friends found themselves with a unexpected day off Friday as a typhoon canceled play at the Zozo Championship, and they killed time by going to a movie theater.
However, the group left the theater only to find out that the storm created road closures and traffic issues, forcing them to wait it out at a nearby Domino's Pizza, according to Golf Channel's Rex Hoggard.
Jordan Spieth, Gary Woodland, Bubba Watson, Ryan Palmer, and Tiger's girlfriend, Erica Herman, were also part of the group.
Thomas documented the busy day in a tweet:
What a day for the books... got back to hotel, got treatment, had lunch, worked out, stretched, showered, movie, stuck at movie theatre because of floods, walked to dominoes with the guys, made our way home 2 hours later, treatment again, now back in my hotel room #PGATourLife

Surprisingly, Tiger went fairly unrecognized while out in Japan. He was asked for just two pictures the entire day, according to a member of the group.
